I realized I was managing symptoms. Not the system.
For 13+ years I worked in HR across recruiting agencies, global enterprises, agile organizations and tech scale-ups. In every chapter I saw the same pattern: growth creates complexity faster than people systems can adapt.

ABOUT MARINA
Built HR from scratch through international growth, acquisition and post-merger integration.
I bring 13+ years of HR experience across recruiting agencies, global enterprises, agile organizations and tech scale-ups.

At 1plusX, a Swiss SaaS scale-up, I was the first dedicated HR hire and built the HR function from scratch as the company expanded internationally across CH, DE, FR, UK, Japan and the US.
I supported the organization through acquisition by TripleLift and post-merger integration.

What shapes my work today is simple: HR only creates value when it understands the business. That means understanding of cost structures, revenue drivers, and what it actually takes to run a company including clear roles, useful processes, strong leadership rhythms and people systems that grow with the company.

I know what tends to break at 30, 80 and 150 people. Not from a textbook, but from doing hands-on work. And today I help founders and leadership teams build HR that supports growth instead of slowing it down.
Also active as Lecturer in Human Resources Management at SIB Schweizerisches Institut für Betriebsökonomie, FSWI Fachschule für Wirtschaft und Informatik, and Art of Formation – Weiterbildung WBA AG.
